END OF SEASON TWO
Tuesday, October 31st, 2006Another chapter ends today.
I was promoted at work. I got the Luna citation. And just minutes ago, I finished writing Indrapura. My head remains shaved, so you know what that means. I’ve got my social life back. I’ve made new friends and received new foes too, i guess.
So, what’s next?
Well, that’s the beauty of life. You don’t know what’s gonna happen tomorrow. The future is unknown. To hope for the best is what we can do. We pray. Blessings may come. Challenges and trying times too. You just got to have a "bring it on" attitude.
Now that i am a Subject Matter Expert at work, the pressure is ever mounting. I’m coaching five trainees, each having a distinct personality. I’ve heard rumors that some people are even questioning my promotion. My work shift is also a challenge in itself. Imagine going to work at 3am. That’s a first.
Indrapura’s premier is justa few weeks away. The production is really big, unsurpassed by any of our previous plays. It was a really difficult piece to write. I hope it can find its place up there with its predecessors. I’m excited to see how the audience would react to the darkest chapter of the trilogy.
One sad thing happened, though. I’m back to smoking. As in Back. Oh, I know I disappoint a lot of you. It just happened.
I’m excited to know what will happen when Season Three opens in a few week’s time. Magiging success kaya ang Indrapura? Matutuloy kaya kami sa pagpunta sa Sagada? Magpapahaba ba ulit ako ng buhok? Will I decide to quit smoking again (for the nth time)? Will i crack under pressure at work?
See you all in a few weeks. I love you all.
